Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic
The CEC Health Care CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) provides:
- Comprehensive, coordinated mental health and substance use services appropriate for individuals across the life span.
- Increased access to high-quality community mental health and substance use care, including crisis care.
- Integrated person- and family-centered services, driven by the needs and preferences of people receiving services and their families.
- A range of evidence-based practices, services, and supports to meet the needs of their communities.
- Services to anyone seeking help for a mental health or substance use condition, regardless of their diagnosis, place of residence, or ability to pay.
Community Mental Health Promotion and Support
The CEC Health Care Community Mental Health Promotion and Support (COMHPS) teams provides community engagement, mental health wellness promotion, individual screenings for mental health conditions, brief counseling, and referral to licensed mental health professionals. The COMHPS Program aims to support New Yorkers with subclinical mental health needs and establish, maintain, and improve individual and community mental health and wellness. The program offers supports through tabling events, by conducting trainings and groups, and through individual contact both in-person and via phone.
Veterans Health Care Services
CEC Healthcare is proud that a number of our staff are veterans, and other staff members have experience providing care through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Call 516-622-8888 x3 for more information.
Veterans Case Management
CEC Healthcare operates a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), which identifies veterans as a priority population. The CCBHC program can assist all who served, even those veterans ineligible for VA services due to discharge status. Through the CCBHC program, Veterans Case Management is provided at no cost to the veteran. Services include:
• Coordination of care and connection to VA Northport
• Referrals to accredited Veterans Service Officers for assistance with the filing of service-connected compensation claims
• Linkages to Veterans Peer Support programs
• Employment assistance, resume writing
• Referrals for food and housing resources
Primary Care & Behavioral Health Care
The CEC Healthcare Glen Cove Integrated Care site offers Primary Care as well as Mental Health and Substance Use treatment including: Psychiatry, Medication Assisted Treatment, and verbal therapy. Some services may be provided via telehealth.
Medicaid, Medicare and some commercial insurances are accepted. Sliding scale payments are available.
